What Is UNIT?

UNIT is a tabletop role-playing game based in the world of ZONES, focusing on survival, exploration, and action. It is intended to be played solo, without a game master. It consists of a simplified system of rules compared to the core ZONES rulebook, providing an introduction to the system and world.

The player will work towards their main mission, finding a dangerous artifact, by collecting intel and making connections with the inhabitants. Surviving the dangers of the Zone and uncovering the artifact's location will lead the agent through a series of open-ended trials towards their goal, including combat encounters, environmental hazards, and working with the local stalkers.

UNIT focuses more on guiding the player through a story than on allowing free-form gameplay in ZONES. Combat will be fierce, deadly, and in the player’s favour.
