A downloadable game

GLIDE: Part Two expands the world of Eridoor into a deeper, stranger, and more personal journey across the sands.

GLIDE is a solo-first (and co-op friendly) tabletop RPG about exploration, survival, and quiet heroism in a dying world slowly reclaiming itself. You are a Seeker—an explorer skimming across endless deserts, forgotten ruins, and fragile settlements aboard a wind-driven craft that is as much home as it is lifeline. Part Two builds on the original game with refined mechanics, richer world systems, and dozens of new tools designed to create emergent stories without a game master.

This new core book introduces expanded exploration through hex-based travel, meaningful settlements filled with dynamic encounters, and a robust Odd-Job system that lets you take on small, human-scale work to earn Credits, Supplies, and reputation. Your choices shape the world: help a struggling outpost, exploit a ruin for scrap, or chase rare discoveries that bring both wonder and dread. Every journey risks wear on your gear, exhaustion of your body, and hard decisions about what to carry forward.

What Do You Get in this Preview?

108 pages of rules, events, and more to explore! There is more packed in this preview than all of GLIDE's core rules!

You will however notice a bunch of missing tables and mechanics, as this game is still a work in progress. However, you can begin filling-in a map, resolving exploration, and even hire a companion. Many of the same core mechanics found in GLIDE are here.

Will This Preview Get Updates?

The plan is to provide updates to this version of the game while development heads towards completion. You can expect Guild Quests, Unique Locations, and a few other core systems to be added in the coming months.

Hey! Will there be an option to continue campaign started in v1 or somehow convert it to v2? What do you think? :)

Here is an idea that you could try for your existing character:

  • Convert each FUEL and WATER you have into 5 Credits each.
  • For each SCRAP above the new maximum, gain 5 Credits and remove them.
  • For each RELIC above the new maximum, gain 25 Credits and remove them.
  • Redistribute all of your existing stats. If a stat would be above 4, round it down to 4. Assign Level 2 and Level 3 to the new stats,  to give you something to start with.
  • Generate a new map. Your old one is not compatible.
  • Reset your Fame total to 0. For each Guild that was at max level, gain 1 Fame (to a maximum of 3).

The current preview rules don't have Equipment/Gear/Upgrades, so you can keep what you have right now but add the 3 Wear to each. If you have more than 3 Equipment/Gear, discard down to 3 total and gain 50 Credits for each removed.

Add the 5 Wear to your glider, which only gains benefits from the upgrades on it (when applicable) if less than 5 total on it. If you have more than 3 Upgrades on the glider, discard down to 3 total and gain 50 Credits for each removed.

I'll have a better process later on in development but feel free to play around with what feels right based on the above (I put this together in 20 minutes - lol).

A great moment to read and come back to Glide!

Thank you so much, Cody!
I'm really excited and looking forward to the new version of Glide.

This is exciting, does the mean that V.1 would be obsolete if we want to play V.2?

The original GLIDE will not be obsolete and will continue to exist as its own thing. Think of the "V.1" of GLIDE as an introduction to what this "V.2" will be.

I can’t quite tell, is this an expansion or version 2.0?

This is a stand-alone new version of GLIDE. I noticed that I have "expansion" mentioned, so I'll correct that mistake now.
